Jan Brons Captures 2nd Prize in the USEF National Intermediaire I Championships with a score of 74.526% !!!
At the USEF Dressage Festival of Champions, where he came in second place at I 1, with only a fraction of a percent difference from first – Jan Brons held his own in a gifted field of riders that included: Shannon Peters, Courtney King-Dye, Shelly Francis, Arlene (Tuny) Page, Chris Hickey, Pamela Goodrich and Kathleen Raine. Katherine Bateson-Chandler won the class with a 74.579 %, barely beating Jan’s score of 74.526% Now Jan is off to Europe for training, courtesy of winning the Carol Lavell Advanced Dressage Prize from the Dressage Foundation. He will be returning to the U.S. to give clinics, and is scheduled to hold his first summer clinic at the Chesapeake Dressage Institute on July 25th and 26th. He will be returning from Europe for several more clinics, and we feel honored that he has chosen CDI as one of the three spots in the U.S. where he will train.
