First Meeting of Local Trainers Concerning Clinics and Seminars
First Meeting of Local Trainers Concerning Clinics and Seminars
First Meeting of Local Trainers Concerning Clinics and Seminars Specifically for the Professional
On November 11, 2007, a group of local riding professionals got together for dinner at the Chesapeake Dressage Institute to discuss organizing clinics, seminars, etc. tailor-made for training the trainers. There is a lot of interest in forming a group to share contacts and suggestions, so a dinner was organized. We ended up with a lively discussion, and many great ideas.

We’ve had several ideas mentioned for seminars, both mounted and unmounted, that should appeal to trainers, among them:
- Discussing training theory debates
- Holding continuing education classes
- Hosting clinics with the best credentialed instructors to offer training for the riding professionals (without an audience, if desired)
We are open to suggestions for a name. Here are some so far:
- Instructors and Trainers Club (or Organization, Group, etc.)
- “Training the Trainers” Club”
- “Riding Professionals” Club
Thank You,
